Andrew Abbott will be studying business and entrepreneurship at Mesa Community College. He has earned a 3.5 GPA and this is his first award. He is the son of Robyn Charland at Canyon State Roofing and Consulting.

Blithe Crabtree is studying Graphic Design at Arizona State University. She has earned a 4.0 GPA and this is her second award. She is the daughter of Aaron Crabtree at Eagle Roofing Products.

Brayden Tambone will be studying Business at Phoenix College. He has earned a 4.0 GPA and this is his first award. He is the son of Bryan Tambone at Eagle Roofing Products.

Carson Goldmeer is studying Finance and Economics at Grand Canyon University. He has earned a 3.89 GPA and this is his third award. He is the son of Chester Goldmeer at JBS Roofing.

Ryland Phipps will be a sophomore at Pima Community College, where he's maintained a 3.5 GPA in the study of astronomy. This is his second award. He is the son of Donald Phipps from Roofing Supply Group in Tucson.

Daniel Hyman will be a junior at Arizona State University, where he is an education major with a 3.4 GPA. This is his second award. He is the son of Russ Hyman from Gryphon Roofing.

Austin Aguilar will be junior at the University of Arizona. He has earned a 3.4 GPA in business economics. He is the son of Scott Aguilar from Eagle Roofing Products.

Dallas Woolsey graduated from Imagine Prep in Surprise with a 3.6 GPA. He will be attending the University of Minnesota, pursuing a degree in chemical engineering. He is the son of Cynthia Lozano-Woolsey from JBS Roofing.

Hailli Wilson is a graduate of Apache Junction High School, where she maintained a 3.9 GPA. She will be attending Grand Canyon University, where she will pursue a degree in biology. She is the daughter of Brandon Wilson from ABC Roofing Supply.

Olivia Raisanen has just graduated from Arizona State University with a 3.7 GPA and will begin the master’s program in architecture at the University of Michigan. This is her second award. She is the daughter of Warren Raisanen of Trades Unlimited.

David Skoog will be a senior at Arizona State University where he has maintained a 3.8 GPA. He has a triple major and will receive degrees in Supply Chain Management, Finance & Entrepreneurship. He is the son of Eric Skoog from Sunvek.

Kori Otero is a graduate student at Brown University in Providence, RI where she in studying Public Health.She had a 3.7 GPA in her undergraduate studies and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She is the daughter of Arnold Otero from Enterprise Bank & Trust.

Jon Jablonski will be a senior at Arizona State University where he has maintained a 3.99 GPA. He is in the Barrett Honors College / W.P. Carrey School of Business where he is pursuing degrees in Finance & Accounting. Jon is a repeat winner of the scholarship. He is the son of Joe Jablonski from Verde Industries.

Daniel Hyman is a graduate of Saguaro High School where he maintained a 3.65 GPA. He will be attending Arizona State University and pursuing a degree in Pre-Medicine. He is the son of Russ Hyman from Gryphon Roofing.

Mark Looney will be a junior at Arizona State University where he will pursue a degree in Engineering. He is a transfer student from the Maricopa Community College system where he maintained a 3.3 GPA while working at JBS Roofing. He is the son of Scott Brown from JBS Roofing.

Nathan Maynard will be a graduate student at the University of Arizona. Nathan is a four time recipient of the scholarship and maintained a 3.7 GPA in his undergraduate studies and made the Dean’s List all four years at the U of A where he majored in both Business and MIS. He is the son of Donna Maynard from Allied Building Products in Tucson.

Alicia Riordan is a graduate of Hamilton High School in Chandler where she maintained a 3.6 GPA. She will begin her freshman year at Arizona State University pursuing a degree in Accounting. She is the daughter of Michael Riordan from Banker Insulation.

Kyra Barstad is a graduate of Prescott High School where she was very active in extra-curricular activities while maintaining a 3.9 GPA. She will be attending the University of Arizona where she plans on getting a degree in Nursing. She is the daughter of Greg Barstad from Granite Basin Roofing in Prescott.

McKelle Carr is a graduate of Centennial High School in Las Vegas where she maintained a 3.9 GPA. She will be attending Brigham Young University in Provo, UT where she will pursue a degree in Nursing. She is the daughter of Bradley Carr from Banker Insulation Phoenix.

Jonathan Jablonski will be a junior at Arizona State university where he has maintained a 4.0 GPA. He is in the Barrett Honors College / W.P. Carrey School of Business where he is pursuing degrees in Finance & Accountancy. He is the son of Joe Jablonski at Verde Industries.

Alex Ladwig will be a junior at Northern Arizona University majoring in Strategic Communications with an emphasis on public relations. Alex achieved a 3.8 GPA for her freshman year She has been on the Deans’ list all three years and will graduate in May 2017. She is the daughter of Matthew Ladwig from Roofing Supply Group in Mesa.

Virginia Martin has just enrolled at the University of Phoenix where she will be pursuing a degree Business Management with an emphasis on Human Resources. She has attended Glendale Community College and Grand Canyon university and despite being a mother, grandmother and full time employee has maintained a 3.62 GPA. Virginia has worked for Tecta America Arizona for over 18 years and currently is the office manager at the Glendale facility.

Stephanie Miller is a graduate of Verrado High School where she excelled at both soccer and academics maintaining a 3.9 GPA. She will be attending Grand Canyon University where she plans to study Biology with a Pre-Med emphasis. She is the daughter of Valorie Miller from JBS Roofing and Larry Miller from Gorman Roofing Services.

Olivia Raisanen will be a senior at Arizona State University where she has maintained a 3.8 GPA. She is pursuing degrees in Architecture and Spanish Literature. She is the daughter of Warren Raisanen from Trades Unlimited.

Julianna Starkweather is a graduate of Notre Dame Preparatory where she was a student/athlete and carried a 3.4 GPA. She will be attending the University of Arizona where she plans on pursuing a degree in Pre-Med and Business. She is the daughter of Jeff Starkweather from Starkweather Roofing.

Nathan Maynard will be carrying a 3.663 GPA into his junior year at the University of Arizona. Currently pursuing double majors with degrees in both Business and MIS, Nathan is a three-time recipient of the scholarship and will graduate in May 2017. He has been on the Deans’ List all three years. He is the son of Donna Maynard from Allied Building Products in Tucson.

Kimberlee Myers is a 2013 graduate of Casa Grande Union High School where she maintained a 4.65 GPA and ranked 6 of 271 students in the graduating class. She will be attending the University of Washington in Seattle on an athletic scholarship and will be pursuing a degree in Pediatric Oncology Nursing. Daughter of Mary Ann Garcia Myers of Roofing Specialists, she will be attending the University of Washington in Seattle on an athletic scholarship and will be pursuing a degree in Pediatric Oncology Nursing.

Jessica Mergener will be a junior at the University of Arizona in Tucson. She has maintained a 3.8 GPA while pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering. She is a repeat winner, having previously been awarded the ARIF scholarship in 2011 and ‘12. Jessica is the daughter of Mike Mergener of KM Coatings Mfg., Inc. and Deanna Mergener of Touchdown Sportswear.

Nathan DeHeer will be a sophomore at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. He is pursuing a degree in Business Management with and emphasis on being an entrepreneur. Nathan maintained a 3.8 GPA for his freshman year. He is the son of Robert DeHeer of Jim Brown & Sons Roofing.

Jordan Benesh will be a senior at Arizona State University in Tempe this year. He is in the Barrett Honors College and has maintained a 4.0 GPA in pursuit of his business degree with an accounting major. He is the son of Virgil Benesh Tecta America Arizona. Jordan is a repeat winner, having also been awarded the ARIF scholarship in 2012.
